About Trusted Life Circle

Our Story

The idea for Trusted Life Circle began as a personal passion project when TLC CEO Andy Reiland’s mother, Nancy, was diagnosed with dementia in 2022. As her primary caregiver, Andy saw firsthand how smartphones could both help and hinder someone navigating cognitive decline.

Wanting to create a better experience, Andy reached out to his cousin/Nancy’s nephew, Tommy Calvy to explore technical solutions. While assistive tools on smartphones provided some benefits, they also revealed major limitations—leading us to think bigger about how technology could better support individuals with dementia.

Dementia diagnoses will continue to rise, impacting Baby Boomers, Gen X, and future generations. Long-term smartphone users like Nancy highlight the growing need for dementia-friendly digital experiences that simplify connection and make smartphones a source of support rather than frustration.

With Trusted Life Circle, we are developing a social media app designed for people with dementia—helping loved ones easily share meaningful moments in a way that is clear, engaging, and accessible.

TLC is currently in development, with plans to launch a beta version soon! Stay connected with us by joining our email list to receive updates and be among the first to experience the future of dementia-friendly smartphone connection.

Our Vision

Trusted Life Circle (TLC) was born from compassion, empathy, and direct personal experience—what began as a personal solution quickly revealed its greater purpose: to improve the quality of life for millions navigating dementia care.

At TLC, our vision is grounded in lived experience, empathy, and genuine understanding of caregiver challenges.

We’re building more than an app—we’re creating a meaningful tool, driven by compassion, real-world insights, and the belief that everyone deserves connection, dignity, and ease, regardless of cognitive decline.

We envision a future where smartphones become a lifeline, not a liability, for all those navigating dementia and Alzheimer’s.
