TLC transforms the smartphone and the conventional social media app into a more intuitive and accessible experience—designed specifically for people with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), early Alzheimer’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease related dementias (ADRD) and the people who care for them.
How TLC Works
Trusted Life Circle optimizes dementia-friendly phone environments and provides a social network structure that centers individuals with dementia within a private circle of support.
In TLC, this individual is referred to as the circle “VIP”. The circle of support around the VIP is comprised of circle “Contributors” and circle “Guardians”.
The “VIP”
The Circle VIP is an individual living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Alzheimer’s Disease, Or Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (ADRD)
Guardians
A Guardian is a user who might be a caretaker or helper for the VIP, they will also be the circle admin.
Contributors
A Contributor is a circle member, they can post content and share with circle/VIP

TLC creates an invite-only Circle, where trusted family and friends share photos, videos, and messages in a calm, distraction-free environment. Unlike traditional social media, there are no ads, no clutter, and no endless scrolling—just meaningful moments delivered simply.

Caregivers acting as “Guardians” have remote admin tools to curate content, track engagement, and ensure a safe experience without overwhelming the user. From custom notifications to content repetition settings, caregivers can tailor TLC to meet their loved one exactly where they are.
