1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Trusted Life Circle (“TLC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website (tlcapp.io) and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Trusted Life Circle is a private, permission-based social platform designed to support individuals living with cognitive decline, along with their caregivers, family members, and trusted contacts.
The platform enables:
Secure sharing of photos, messages, and media
Controlled communication within trusted circles
Caregiver-supported account management
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
If you are using TLC on behalf of another individual (such as a loved one with dementia), you represent that you have the authority to do so.
4. Account Roles and Responsibilities
TLC may include different user roles, including but not limited to:
Primary User (VIP) – the individual receiving care or support
Guardian/Caregiver – a user managing or assisting with the account
Contributor – a trusted contact sharing content
You agree that:
Information you provide is accurate and current
You are responsible for maintaining account security
Guardians must act in the best interest of the individual they support
5. Privacy and Data Use
Your use of TLC is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
6. Content and Conduct
You retain ownership of content you share on TLC, but you grant us a limited license to store, display, and deliver that content within your Trusted Circle.
You agree not to:
Share harmful, abusive, or illegal content
Attempt to access accounts or data without permission
Use the platform for commercial solicitation or spam
Interfere with or disrupt the service
7. Private Network Expectations
TLC is designed as a closed, permission-based environment.
While we provide tools to control access:
Users are responsible for who they invite into their circle
We cannot guarantee that content shared within a circle will never be copied or redistributed by other users
8. No Medical or Professional Advice
TLC is not a healthcare provider.
The platform does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. Any decisions regarding care should be made in consultation with qualified professionals.
9. Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may:
Modify or discontinue features
Perform maintenance or updates
Restrict access in certain situations
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
Violate these Terms
Pose a risk to other users
Engage in misuse of the platform
Users may also delete their account at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
TLC shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, content, or access
Decisions made based on use of the platform
Use of TLC is at your own risk.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trusted Life Circle and its team from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
Your use of the platform
Your violation of these Terms
Content you share
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of TLC after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Caregiver Responsibility & Ethical Use
TLC is designed to support individuals who may be vulnerable due to cognitive decline. Guardians and caregivers agree to use the platform responsibly, respectfully, and in a manner that prioritizes the dignity, autonomy, and well-being of the individual they support.
