About Trusted Life Circle

Our Story

Trusted Life Circle (TLC) is a Milwaukee-based startup helping aging seniors and individuals experiencing cognitive change—including those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia—stay connected with the people who matter most. Launched in June 2026, TLC offers a private, invitation-only social app that brings family photos, videos and everyday updates into a simpler experience, with tools that help caregivers support their loved ones.

TLC began with a family’s experience. When CEO and co-founder Andy Reiland’s mother, Nancy, was diagnosed with dementia in 2022, he became her primary caregiver. He saw how her smartphone could keep her connected, while also presenting confusion and exposure to spam, scams and unwanted contact. He wanted to preserve the connection while making the experience easier to navigate.

Andy turned to his cousin and Nancy’s nephew, Tommy Calvy, to explore a better approach. Tommy brought his own perspective from both grandparents’ experiences with Alzheimer’s. Fellow co-founder Kevin Jennings had supported his father through primary progressive aphasia. Together, the founders combined firsthand caregiving experience with expertise in product strategy, user experience, branding and software engineering to create Trusted Life Circle.

Today, TLC’s mission extends to families navigating a broad range of cognitive changes. Its design centers on familiar people, clear navigation and sharing within a trusted circle, without public feeds or advertising. The goal is simple: help people remain included in everyday family life as their needs change.
