Terms and Conditions – Trusted Life Circle (TLC)

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Trusted Life Circle (“TLC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) mobile application or website (tlcapp.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Trusted Life Circle is a private, permission-based social platform designed to support individuals, caregivers, and families by enabling secure communication and content sharing within trusted groups.
Features may include:
Private sharing of photos, messages, and media
Invitation-only user circles
Caregiver-supported account management
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
If you use TLC on behalf of another individual, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so.
4. User Accounts
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Be responsible for all activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Roles and Responsibilities
TLC may include roles such as:
Primary User (VIP)
Guardian/Caregiver
Contributor
Guardians and caregivers agree to act in the best interest of the individual they support.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to TLC.
By posting content, you grant TLC a limited license to:
Store
Display
Transmit
your content within your Trusted Circle.
You are solely responsible for the content you share.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Post unlawful, harmful, abusive, or defamatory content
Share content that violates another person’s rights
Impersonate another individual
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
Use the platform for spam, solicitation, or commercial purposes
This includes any content involving the exploitation or abuse of minors.
8. Privacy
Your use of TLC is subject to our Privacy Policy.
9. Safety and Moderation
We reserve the right to:
Review content
Remove content that violates our policies
Restrict or terminate accounts
We may take action without prior notice when necessary to protect users.
10. No Medical Advice
TLC is not a healthcare provider.
The platform does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice.
11. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
You violate these Terms
Your use poses a risk to others
Required by law
You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, design, and functionality (excluding user content) are the property of Trusted Life Circle and may not be copied or used without permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
TLC shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of data or content
Outcomes related to use of the platform
Use of the service is at your own discretion and risk.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States.
17. Apple App Store Terms
If you access TLC through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge and agree that Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
No Apple Warranty or Support: Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the TLC application.
Product Claims: You acknowledge that TLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the application, including but not limited to product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims.
Intellectual Property Claims: In the event of any third-party claim that the application infringes intellectual property rights, TLC—not Apple—will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claims.
Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
U.S. Government End Users: The application is a “Commercial Item” as defined in 48 C.F.R. §2.101, consisting of “Commercial Computer Software” and “Commercial Computer Software Documentation.”
